These pictures were taken of an Indian Mound on 250 N in Fairplay Township.

These pictures are of the 4-Way Bridge separating Greene and Sullivan Counties. The location is on 50 N in Stockton Township.

The pictures of the Allen Chapel Church were taken in 175 E in Richland Township.

The American Bottoms is surrounded by bluffs and ridges on three sides and forms a basin. It can be found east of Bloomfield in Center Township on 725 and 800 E.

The American Legion Park is located on 200 N in Stockton Township, near Linton.

The Antioch Church and Cemetery is located where 200 N and 300 S meet in Taylor Township.

Arthur Cemetery is located on 760 N in Beech Creek Township.

The Ashcraft Chapel is located on 360 S in Jackson Township.

Bays Burch Cemetery is located off Highway 54 in Center Township between County Roads 820 E and 950 E.

The Beechwood Christian Camp is located in Highland Township.

Crane Naval Depot is a federal navy base partially located in Taylor and Jackson Townships.

The Dishman Cemetery is located in Jackson Township on 1250 E across the road from the Bethel Church.

The Dixon Cemetery is located on 500 N in Jefferson Township.

The Dog Island Cemetery is about four miles south of Lyons on county road 800W. It's on the NW corner of CR800W and CR625S (about a mile north of the White River). Thank you to Gilbert Summerville for updating our information.

Dowden Cemetery is located on 275 E in Taylor Township.

The Dutch Cemetery is located in Taylor Township on 350 E.

E.T. Raceway is located in the Western part of Greene County in Washington Township. They host drag races.

The Eastern-Greene School is located in in Center Township between State Roads 54 and 43.

Fairview Cemetery is owned and operated by the City of Linton and is located in Stockton Township at the intersection of 300N (Bolton Road) and 1175W (4th Street).

The First Greene County Mormon Chapel was located in Center Township on 175S. There is now a marker their telling about the first Greene County mormon chapel.

Flynn Cemetery is located in Center township on 150S just off State Road 45.

The FOP is located in Stockton Township north of Linton on 1100W (Park Road).

The Freeman Cemetery is located in Jackson Township on 1320E.

French's Roller Rink is located North of Jasonville on State Road 48.

The Furnace Christian Church is located South East of Bloomfield on 60 S in Highland Township.

The German Memory Hill Cemetery is located in Stockton Township North of Linton on County Road 1175W (4th Street).

The Goodman, Mayfield, Wright Cemetery is located in Stockton Township in Greene-Sullivan State Forest.

The Goosepond - Beehunter Marsh is located in parts of Stockton, Stafford, Grant and Washington townships. The Marsh area is currently going under renovations to restore it to its naturual state as a wetlands.

Grandview Cemetery is Bloomfield Indiana's cemetery and it is located on 157 N of Bloomfield.

The Hawthorn Mine is located partially in Greene County via Stafford Township.

The Highland Township Fire Department is located near Calvertville on County Road 225E.

The Hillenbrand Fish and Wildlife Area is located in Wright Township between Linton and Jasonville Indiana.

The Hobbieville Christian Fellowship is located in Hobbieville Indiana in Beech Creek Township.

Holder Cemetery is on 550W between 400N and 325N in Fairplay township.

Howell Cemetery is located in Jackson Township just north of Koleen Indiana on 610E.

The Island City Cemetery is located south of Linton in Stockton Township on 100S.

Jasonville is Greene County Indiana's second largest city and is located in the North West part of Wright Township near Clay County. Jasonville is also referred to as Shakamak.

Koleen is a small Greene County Indiana community located in Jackson township on 330S.

The Mount Calvary Church and Cemetery is located in Highland Township near Tulip on 410N. The Viaduct is also nearby.

The Mount Vernon Church is located in Jefferson Township on State Road 48 and County Road 475W.

The Mount Zion Cemetery is located in Richland Township on 360E.

The Old Linton Cemetery is located West of Linton on County Road 40N. The cemetery is also referred to as the Sassafras Cemetery and the New Jerusalem Cemetery.

The Olive Branch Baptist Church is located off State Road 54 North of Linton.

The Ore Branch Church of Christ is located in Richland Township on Ore Branch Road and near 440E.

Owensburg Indiana is located in the South Eastern corner of Greene County Indiana and in Jackson Township. It can be accessed by State Road 58.

The Philpot Cemetery is located on 575N in Beech Creek Cemetery. When visiting this cemetery, we had the honor of speaking with a local who was very informative about the cemetery. We learned that many civil war veterans and even one of the first Greene County school teachers had been laid to rest in the cemetery.

We are not sure of the location of the Piankashaw Trails Education Park. If you happen to know this location, please contact us so that we can update our information.

The Pleasant Grove Church and Cemetery is on 300S in Stafford Township.

The Pleasant Grove Farm is located on 300S in Stafford Township and is currently being developed into a retirement community located within the Goosepond and Beehunter Marsh area.

The Pleasant Kentucky Ridge Church and Cemetery is located in Jackson Township where 750E meets State Road 45/58 and it is directly across from the Crane Naval Depot.

Prarie Chapel and Cemetery is located on State Road 57 in Washington Township.

The Providence Baptist Church is located in Smith Township on Old Terre Haute Road (700N).

The Pryor Cemetery is located where 740N and 660E meet in Beech Creek Township.

The Richland Creek Covered Bridge is the only remaining covered bridge left in Greene County Indiana. The bridge is located South of Bloomfield 25E. You can turn South on Seminary Street in Bloomfield to get to the Covered Bridge.

The Ridgeport Community Church and Cemetery is located on State Road 54 in Center Township.

The Rock House is located in Jackson Township near Koleen on 320S. It has a large historic value dating back to the early 1800's.

Rosey's Diner is a small eating establishment in Beech Creek Township north of Hobbieville on State Road 43.

The Salem Cemetery is located in Stockton Township just off 400N.

Scotland Indiana is a small historic community in Greene County and is located in Taylor Township near where Greene County meets Daviess and Martin Counties.

The Shady Acres Campground is located on 200S between Grant and Washington Townships.

Park of the Shakamak State Park is located near Jasonville in Wright Township. It then goes into Clay and Sullivan Counties.

The Sharkey Trinity Church is located on 530E in Richland Township just north of State Road 54.

Shawnee Field is Greene Counties privately owned and operated airport. It is located on County Road 100N east of U.S. Route 231 in Fairplay Township.

The Simpson Chapel Cemetery is located in Taylor Township on 475S.

The Slinkard Cemetery is located on County Road 675S just west of Newberry in Cass Township.

The Smith Bethel Cemetery is located on 350E in Taylor Township.

Solsberry Indiana is located in Beech Creek Township on State Road 43.

Just South East of Linton a pair of eagles have taken up residence. It is quite a site to see but for the eagles privacy, we are not going to disclose the exact location of the nest.

The Summerville Church is located between Vicksburg and Midland in Wright Township on 545N.

Sunset Park is a Linton City Park and is located in Stockton Township North of Linton on 200N.

Switz City is a small but unique community in Greene County Indiana. It is located both in Grant and Fairplay townships.

The Viaduct is a railroad bridge that is over 100 years old and is one of the longest in the world. It is located in Richland Township on County Road 450E.

Vicksburg is a small Greene County Indiana community located in Wright Township around 1375W.

Waggoner Cemetery is located in Grant Township where 100S and 800W meet.

The Walnut Grove Church of God is located in Richland Township on 530E.

The Walnut Grove School House is located in Taylor Township on 525E.

The Walnut Grove Spring Water Company is located in Richland Township on 530E.

The White River Valley (WRV) High School is located in Switz City Indiana.

White Rose is a small community in Western Greene County in Stockton Township. It is also referred to as Whites Crossing.
